Membership Dues Notices for 2026-2027 have been mailed out by Grand Lodge this week.  There is an error in the remarks field indicating that payment is due before April 1, 2025. 

For clarification, payment is due before March 31, 2026.

NOTICE FROM THE LODGE SECRETARY

**Nomination of Officers**

In accordance with Section 3.080 of the Grand Lodge Statutes and Article VII, Section 1 of the Lodge By-Laws, nominations for the following officer positions for the Lodge Year 2026-2027 will be made at the regular lodge meeting on February 11, 2026:

- Exalted Ruler

- Esteemed Leading Knight

- Esteemed Loyal Knight

- Esteemed Lecturing Knight

- Lodge Secretary

- Lodge Treasurer

- Trustee (5-Year Term)

- Alternate Delegate to the Grand Lodge Convention

Please note that nominations for an office cannot be accepted after February 11, 2026, unless no nominations for that particular office were made at that meeting. Only members in good standing are eligible for nomination to an office in the Lodge to which they belong.

**Election of Officers**

In accordance with Section 3.080 of the Grand Lodge Statutes and Article VII, Section 2 of the Lodge By-Laws, elections for the above officer positions will be held at the regular lodge meeting on February 25, 2026. The officer positions of Esquire, Chaplain, Inner Guard, and Tiler are appointed by the Exalted Ruler.

**Member-Only Alcohol Purchases**

 Attention all Plymouth Ann Arbor Elks members!

This is a reminder that only Lodge members are permitted to purchase beer, wine, and liquor. This policy is a strict requirement of our Club Liquor License and must be followed at all times. Guests are welcome to enjoy our food and non-alcoholic beverages, but if you bring a guest, you must purchase any alcoholic drinks for them.

 Throughout the year, we will apply for special public licenses for specific events. When these special licenses are in effect, alcohol sales may be open to the public. However, unless otherwise announced, our standard member-only purchase policy will remain in effect.

 Also, our staff may request to see your membership card to make sure it is in compliance. Please don’t take offense—be proud to show that you are an Elk!
